Our Mission

At The Branch Church our mission statement is simple.

Connect others to Jesus. Grow in faith. Produce fruit to glorify the Father.

But what does that truly mean?

In Matthew 28:19 Jesus explains his mission by telling his disciples "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit." The Great Commission given to the disciples has not changed. We continue this same mission at The Branch Church by existing to Connect every person in every nation with Jesus Christ so that they may become disciples for him.

To effectively make disciples, we must first know the characteristics of a disciple. Jesus tells us this in Luke 6:40; “The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher." In other words, we are called to Grow in our faith and understanding, making disciples that look and act like Jesus.

Lastly, Jesus tells us in John 15:8 "This is to my Father's Glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." Clearly Jesus wants us to use everything he taught to Produce good fruit and works that will glorify God the Father.
